Is your business non-existent on YouTube? Each month over 4 billion hours of video are watched, with 800 million different people contributing to those viewing hours. With those astonishing stats its easy to see why I suggest you begin marketing yourself on YouTube as an essential part of your business. It’s open 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and there’s no fee. I use YouTube in conjunction with other services for my clients in order to help increase exposure in their local area. It’s a big help when trying to reach a new audience and engage with them. Adding a professional looking intro to your video can also help potential clients grasp your business’ level of professionalism and authenticity.
However, there are times when you’d like to skip to a specific potion your video so that it’s better tailored for your website, article, newsletter or e-mail.
Once you play the selected video, pause it where you’d like to. Right-click on the paused circle and select “copy video URL at current time.” After that you should have a link that you can paste and use anywhere you’d like to. Use this method for breaking up your videos into chapters or when you’d like to point out specific information to your clients and/or team members.
